Project Overview
Owner’s POS is a point-of-sale system consisting of three modules inventory management, restaurant management, and e-commerce management. Owners POS helps users in managing finances, product handling, stock maintenance, and human resource management within a firm. We aimed to create a user-friendly system that makes handling tasks simpler for all sorts of firms and companies.
Development Frame Work
In developing the owner's POS system, our team leveraged Laravel for robust back-end functionality and employed Vue.js for seamless front-end development. We hosted this project on AWS to ensure that everything remains secure and works well for our clients
Challenges We Faced
Owners POS was a complex project and our developing team came across various challenges. The most prominent among them were extensive data loading and image storage. The second hurdle encountered during the development of the Owner POS was the imperative to create a system capable of functioning seamlessly offline. This necessitated a solution wherein user-inputted data, collected in offline mode, would be automatically synchronized with the server upon regaining an internet connection, maintaining accuracy in terms of the timestamp and entered information. However, through our expertise, we managed to handle all the challenges effectively and efficiently.
